The first page of names show the wounded came from all parts of the allied army. Australians and Canadians were among the wounded listed here. It may have been the novelty of having Australian servicemen visiting that first gave the idea of keeping a visitor list of the wounded soldiers. One soldier has dated the page to 2nd October, 1916.

The second page of names from all parts of the allied army. Includes Black Watch, Sherwood Foresters, Army Veterinary Corps, Royal Engineers, Guards, South Africa, Australia.

The third page of names from all parts of the allied army. Includes Australian Siege Brigade, S Staffs, Duke of Wellington's, Royal Garrison Artillery, Loyal N Lancs.

Page 4. Includes 5th Western Canadian Cavalry, Royal Naval Division, Royal Welch Fusiliers, Royal Scots, Highland Light Infantry, Notts and Derby Regt.

Page 5 is dated 12th February, 1917. Includes Seaforth Highlanders, Royal Irish Regt., Cornwall Pioneers, Northumberland Fusiliers, Durham LI.

Page 6 of names from all parts of the allied army, dated to 19th March, 1917. Includes South African HI, Royal Australian Artillery, Welsh Regt., Nova Scotia.

Page 7 includes 1st Kensingtons, Yorkshire LI, 1st Norfolk Regt, Kings Own Scottish Borderers.

Page 8 is dated 18th June, 1917. Includes East and West Surreys, Warwicks, 7th Battn Suffolks, Royal Dublin Fusiliers, 11 Cheshires.

Page 9 is dated July 16th, 1917. Includes 3rd Canadian Battn, 8th Norfolks, Welsh Regt, London Irish Rifles, 2 Suffolk, West Yorkshire.

Page 10 is dated September 10th, 1917, by Sgt (?) Calver of the 7th Suffolks. Page includes 2nd Corp Cyclist Battn, a Piper from the Royal Scots, Liverpool Irish, N Derby, Royal Berks, Devons, Canadian Mounted Rifles, Northumberland Fusiliers.

Page 11. Includes Gordon Highlanders, 2nd Lincolns, 2/1st Norfolk Yeomanry, Leinsters, 111th Howitzer Battery AJF.

This economical Sergeant of the 59th Canadians started a new page on the back of the previous page. All other pages were written single sided on the right hand page.
